By downloading, installing, or using QR Scanner Pro+ & Barcode ("the App"), developed by Golden Roots, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Golden Roots.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, or use the App. Your continued use of the App following any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
The App is a mobile application that provides QR code and barcode scanning functionality, including scan history management, favorites organization, optional Google Drive backup of your scan data, and related features. The App is provided free of charge and is supported by third-party advertising. Golden Roots reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time without prior notice.
No account registration is required to use the core features of the App. All scanning, history, and favorites functionality is available without providing any personal information or creating an account.
Google Sign-In is available solely to enable the optional Google Drive backup feature. If you choose to use Google Sign-In, your use of Google's authentication services is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Golden Roots is not responsible for any issues arising from your use of Google's services.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
All content, design, graphics, user interface, code, trademarks, and other materials comprising the App are the exclusive property of Golden Roots or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You retain full ownership of all data you generate through the App, including your scan history and favorites. Golden Roots claims no ownership rights over the content of codes you scan or the data stored in your scan history.
The optional Google Drive backup feature is subject to the following conditions:

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. GOLDEN ROOTS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Golden Roots makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content decoded or displayed by the App, including but not limited to URLs, contact information, or other data contained in scanned QR codes or barcodes. You are solely responsible for verifying and acting upon scanned content.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GOLDEN ROOTS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF GOLDEN ROOTS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL GOLDEN ROOTS'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO GOLDEN ROOTS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICH FOR A FREE APP IS ZERO (USD $0.00).
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data, including your scan history, favorites, and settings. Golden Roots reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue the App or any features thereof at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
Golden Roots may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in the App, applicable laws, or business practices. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Thailand.
